hello, I am writing to inquire whether you offer custom dermatological compounding. I have vitiligo, and recent clinical and translational research has been very promising regarding the use of topical copper peptides (GHK-Cu, approximately 0.1%) and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) as adjunctive therapies, particularly in relation to oxidative stress reduction, melanocyte support, and overall skin integrity. I am also interested in additional non-irritating, barrier-supportive actives that may help support collagen synthesis and dermal resilience without aggravating vitiligo-affected skin. My physician is more than willing to send you a prescription if you are able to compound one or more topical preparations incorporating copper peptides, NAC, and, where appropriate, ingredients such as niacinamide, panthenol, and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, all prepared in a fragrance-free, dye-free, non-irritating base suitable for facial and lip use. The intended purpose would be adjunctive management of vitiligo, along with support for skin barrier function, collagen maintenance, and age-related skin changes, while avoiding known irritants. I would also like to mention that I am currently on ODSP, so I would appreciate any guidance regarding cost considerations, possible formulation options that are more economical, or whether any components may be covered or partially covered when prescribed. I would be grateful if you could let me know whether you compound these types of dermatologic formulations, whether you have preferred concentrations or bases you would recommend, what specific details you would require from my physician on the prescription, and what the approximate cost range and turnaround time might be.
